WSAVA guidelines encourage veterinarians to look for pet food manufacturers that support their formulations with the guidance of board certified veterinary nutritionists. And we do that. But to truly utilize all the knowledge we have amassed over the years in nutrition, we needed to build a diverse team of thinkers in both pet and human nutrition - veterinarians, PhDs, food scientists, and researchers.
