1. SPONSOR

This random drawing sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Freshpet Inc., 1450 US-206, Bedminster, NJ 07921 (the “Sponsor”). The Sweepstakes is not sponsored by, endorsed by, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or other social media providers or other digital platforms or various media formats used to distribute information regarding the opportunity to enter the Sweepstakes.

2. PROMOTION PERIOD

The Sweepstakes begins October 12, 2025 at 12:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on October 18, 2025 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET (the “Promotion Period”). All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void outside of the United States and/or wherever else prohibited or restricted by law. Immediately upon submission, all entries become the property of Sponsor and will neither be acknowledged nor returned other than as herein described.

3. AGREEMENT TO RULES

By entering, each participant (the “Participant”) acknowledges acceptance of and compliance with these official rules (the “Official Rules”) and represents and warrants that Participant meets the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, Participant agrees to accept the decisions of Sponsor as final and binding as it relates to the Sweepstakes. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. If a selected winner does not fulfill all the requirements set forth in these Sweepstakes Official Rules, the Sponsor may select another winner at random.

4. ELIGIBILITY

Sweepstakes is open to all veterinarian technicians who have a valid and current membership in the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America and who are legal residents of the fifty (50) US states who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at time of entry. Any entrants found to be under the age of 18 shall be disqualified. Employees of the Sponsor, its related or affiliated entities, or the advertising and promotion agencies involved in the Sweepstakes, and each of their respective employees, and their immediate family members (parent, child, sibling and spouse of each, regardless of where they reside) and those living in the same households of each (whether related or not) are not eligible.

5. HOW TO ENTER 

To enter:

• complete all required fields on the entry form, including your first name, last name, valid email address, and National Association of Veterinary Technicians membership number;
• click the box to provide your consent to these Official Rules and the Privacy Policy;
• click the box to provide your consent to receive informational and promotional emails from the Sponsor (this is optional); and
• click “Submit” to receive one entry.

Limit one (1) entry per person. Such entry must be received during the Promotion Period to be eligible to win. For purposes of this Sweepstakes, “receipt” of an entry will be based on the time of Sponsor’s receipt of the submission. The Entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person whose name is included in the entry form, but only if that person meets all other eligibility criteria. Any attempt by a Participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, or any other methods will void that Participant’s entries and that Participant may be disqualified. Use of fraudulent methods or other attempts to circumvent the Official Rules will result in the Entrant’s entry being removed from eligibility in the sole discretion of Sponsor.

6. WINNING ENTRIES; NOTIFICATION

The one (1) winning entry will be drawn at random by Sponsor on October 21, 2025. Odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received in the Promotion Period. All drawings will be conducted by Sponsor, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.

The winner will be notified by means of the email contact information provided at the time of Sweepstakes entry within two (2) days of the drawing date.

7. PRIZES

Prizes will be awarded consisting of registration for the VETgirl U Conference in Salt Lake City, UT on June 19-21, 2026 (the “Conference”) and a cash prize that can be used toward travel to the Conference and specifically will include:

• Conference registration (Veterinary Technician Track conference registration only, does not include any master classes or other add-ons).
• A $2,500.00 cash prize that can be used for travel to the Conference and accommodations at the Conference.

The total approximate value of all prizes is $3,250.00.

The winner is responsible for booking their own travel, accommodations, and arrangements. The winner is responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documentation, such as an ID or passport. If the winner is unable to attend the Conference, the Sponsor is not required to provide an alternative prize and has no further obligation to the winner.

All other costs and expenses incurred by the winner in attending the Conference are the responsibility of the winner, including travel to and from the Conference location (e.g., airfare, car rental, train tickets), lodging, parking, food and drink, entertainment, gratuities, and taxes.

IMPORTANT NOTE: In the event that for any reason the prize provider or Sponsor is unable to present the prize specified above, the award of an alternative prize will be in the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Should any other cause beyond Sponsor’s control impact the Sweepstakes or Sponsor’s ability to award the prizes as planned such as fire, earthquake, labor disputes or strikes, acts of God, pandemic, terrorist threat or activity, or any federal, state or local government law, order or regulation, Sponsor may in its sole discretion suspend the Sweepstakes to address the impairment and then resume the Sweepstakes at another time in a manner that best confirms to the spirit of these Official Rules.

8. PRIZE CONDITIONS

No transfer or substitution of any portion of the prize is allowed, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. The potential winner must comply with all Sweepstakes rules as published and may be asked to complete and sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability and publicity release within three (3) days of the prize notification or the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. Return of prize notification as undeliverable; and/or failure to provide any other required documentation in a timely manner may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Non-winning Participants will not be notified. Winning a prize is contingent on fulfilling all the requirements set forth herein. Winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, if applicable. Except for residents of Tennessee, winner’s entry and acceptance of any prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) for the Sponsor to use said winner’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice, and address (city and state) on a worldwide basis, and in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without notice or further compensation. If the winner is a resident of Tennessee, Sponsor will not use winner’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice or address without such winner’s written consent.

9. SWEEPSTAKES TERMS & CONDITIONS

The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. By participating, Participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and waive any right to claim ambiguity in regard to the mechanics of the Sweepstakes or the interpretation of these Official Rules.

Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with the mechanics or logistics of this Sweepstakes will be declared ineligible and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Sponsor, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media providers or other digital platforms or various media formats used to distribute information regarding the opportunity to enter the Sweepstakes are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with, or utilized in, this Sweepstakes, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing and/or transmissions in the Sweepstakes. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email due to technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof, including injury or damage to Participants or to any other person’s computer related to, or resulting from, participating in or downloading of materials in this Sweepstakes. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including, without limitation, infection by computer virus, bugs, worms, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor that may corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Internet portion of the Sweepstakes, and select a winner from all entries received up to the time of termination. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with the mechanics or logistics of this Sweepstakes will be declared ineligible and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without respect to conflict of law doctrines.

Release and Limitation of Liability. By participating in the Sweepstakes, Participants agree to release, discharge, defend, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor, the prize providers, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media providers or other digital platforms or various media formats used to distribute information regarding the opportunity to enter the Sweepstakes, and each of their respective parents and affiliates, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Participants, printing errors, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) any damage to a Participant’s, or any other person’s property, computer system or mobile phone which is occasioned by participating in the Sweepstakes; (4) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (5) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; (6) late, lost, undeliverable, damaged or stolen mail; or (6) against any claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from Participant’s entrance in the Sweepstakes, including attendance and participation in the Conference, or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.

Dispute resolution. As a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, Participants agree that any and all disputes and causes of action against Sponsor arising out of or in connection with this Sweepstakes shall be resolved individually (without resort to any form of class action). Such dispute shall be resolved by mediation and binding arbitration. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will Participants be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waive all rights to claim punitive, incidental or consequential damages, including attorneys’ fees, and Participants further waive all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

10. WINNERS LIST

To receive written confirmation of the winner, send an email to sweepstakes@Freshpet.com with the subject line Sweepstakes Winner’s List Request. Requests must be received by within six (6) months of the close of the Promotion Period.

11. PRIVACY; EMAILS

Personal information that is submitted by Participants as part of the Sweepstakes will be used to administer the Sweepstakes, select and announce the prize winner, fulfill the prize, and will be treated in accordance with the privacy policy accessible at: https://www.freshpet.com/privacy-policy. Your entry into the Sweepstakes constitutes acceptance of the Sponsor’s privacy policy and these Sweepstakes Rules. Entering the Sweepstakes does not automatically add you to Sponsor’s informational or promotional email list. If Participant wishes to receive Sponsor’s informational or promotional emails, which may contain information about Sponsor’s products, news, and updates, the Participant must provide affirmative consent by expressly opting in during the entry process described in Section 5, above. By providing such consent, the Participant is consenting to Sponsor’s use of the information that Participant provides for the purpose of Sponsor sending such emails. Sponsor uses commercially reasonable efforts to comply with the TCPA and the CAN-SPAM Act. Even if the Participant does choose to receive informational or promotional emails, the Participant will have the right to withdraw such consent at any time. All informational or promotional emails sent to the Participant will include a clear and conspicuous link to unsubscribe from future communications.

12. DISCLOSURES

Endorsement and Testimonial Disclosure. The winner understands and agrees that if they choose to post or publicize their win or the Sponsor's products or services online, they have a "material connection" to the Sponsor as a prize winner. Accordingly, the winner must clearly and conspicuously disclose this connection in any such promotion, post, or content.

Specific Disclosure Language. To comply with the FTC's Endorsement Guides, the winner agrees to use a clear and conspicuous disclosure in any social media post or content related to their prize or the Sponsor's products or services. This disclosure must be easy to understand and be included in the content itself. The disclosure should be prominent and appear at the beginning of the post or review. In the case of video content, the disclosure should appear within the video itself and not just in the description.

No Misleading Impressions. The winner further agrees not to make any false, misleading, or unsubstantiated claims about the Sponsor or its products or services, online or otherwise. The winner’s posts or statements must reflect their honest opinions and experiences.

Non-Compliance. Failure to adhere to these disclosure requirements may result in forfeiture of the prize or other action deemed appropriate by the Sponsor.
